I've never been to Americus, GA before and this BBQ place came up as an option. It's a small place with about 4-5 tables, but it's a classic setting inside. There is a ton more parking spots then there are tables and when I pulled up the parking lot was full. This usually means the food is amazing and that they have a big following, which is seems like they do. I only wanted meat and no carbs so I got 1/2 lb of pulled pork, which was pretty tasty. It had a slight hint of smoke flavor. The BBQ comes pre-sauced, which is really the only drawback. It would be nice if they had more meat options. But overall a very cool place. And the people were very nice.

Small, laid-back place with simple BBQ choices and several different sides at very good prices. I had BBQ chicken, mashed potatoes, baked beans, bread and drink for just over $7. Limited seating but most folks get stuff to go. Everyone is friendly. I've been to a couple events they catered and that involves all kinds of different items. The catered food was absolutely amazing.
My roommates and I drove up here from FL to avoid hurricane Irma. When the owners learned our situation they gave us free sandwich combo coupons to use. The food was great, the building was cute, and the staff was so friendly. Real kind folks, THANK YOU!
I have only had the pulled pork plate but it was delicious to me. The beans are good, the stew is a tad soupy to me but good flavor.
I love 2Duke's pulled pork sandwich. The baked potato salad is awesome and so is the slaw.
